Stop "giving" aid to countries that hate us, and look inward. Stop free cell phones and free stuff to those not working, and put them to work on the roads! Good counsel, but will the people who are in charge ever listen?

My point being that it is not economical for a business to buy a backup generator, store and maintain it, and comply with codes to do so, for the once a year to five years it may be beneficial. Otherwise, it would be a common practice. And a small home generator would be nowhere what a fuel station would need. Ran a convenience store and the monthly bill for electricity was $1600, at .074 cents per kilowatt! It's just as feasible for individuals to have there own generators as businesses, yet the vast majority do not. Thanks for your reply!

And why don't 10 million people in New York each have $10,000 + generators! It's a question of economics man, geez!
