At Least 200,000 Tons of Oil and Gas from Deepwater Horizon Spill Consumed by Gulf Bacteria? Those are some Hungry little Bacteria buggers! There are numerous seeps and springs of underground oil into the worlds oceans all the time, bacteria have evolved to eat and consume that past organic matter. There is a lot more oil to go so get busy guys! Less oil in the water and the fish and shrimp can return to normal and have eyes and fins again, no more weird deformations. Nature can right man’s wrongs and make it all good again! Whatever the size or shape of the vehicle, Produce and ‘Drive’ vehicles with high MPG, are very reliable, have a ‘reasonable’ cost and a good ‘value’ for the money. The price of fuel at the pump is too high! 12/22/2012!

I wish someone would come up with a bacteria that would consume 200,000 tons of political crap that I see on TV daily.

So how much Oxygen in the Gulf of Mexico has been removed from the increased use of fertilizer from farmers planting corn to help with the ethanol mandate?

...and those bacteria are ready to melt and envelope any organism that goes swimming from the beaches on the GOM. How nice is THAT?

maybe not so good. the process removes oxygen from the ocean so may have reduced the populations of other sea creatures.
It also releases co2 into the air. more global warming.
so don't be so happy.

Yummy.
It is not just bacteria that are gobbling up the toxic oil.
The Gulf Of Mexico is prime fishing and breeding grounds.
Not only are sea creatures consuming the oil & dispersants, they are actually swimming in it :0|
Google Bioaccumulation & Biomagnification to learn how pollutants accumulate and become more concentrated as they move up the food chain.

Remember the First Iraq war when Saddam set fire to all the oil wells in Kuwait, the news media said it might be a century before the environment recovered. It was a matter of a few years. Nature is more powerful than mankind.

Need to send some of these bad guys to DC and see if they can clean up the mess. Elected officials spend to much time trying to get elected to do the job they were sent to take care of.
